British-based tech-led insight agency FlexMR has appointed former MRS and AURA Chairman Danny Russell as a Non-Executive Advisor, to support the firm's growth strategy and advise its senior leadership team.
The company, which has an additional office in Germany, offers a fully integrated qual and quant SaaS online and mobile research platform, as well as a multi-language software product supported by its insight professionals. Its InsightHub brings together its range of existing research tools and services.
Russell (pictured) joins after a 27-year client-side career, holding senior insight and data roles at Boots, Kraft, British Airways, Sky, Flutter and O2. He currently runs his own strategic consultancy, while also serving as a Non-Executive Director (NED) at translation and research service provider Mission Translate. Earlier, he was a NED at Omnicom's ad and brand research firm Hall & Partners; and online MR specialist at Further (acquired by Toluna last year); and he served as Chief Advisor at behavioural research agency Watch Me Think.
According to FlexMR, Russell will work alongside its team to explore how to better enable business success for the firm's existing clients and the wider research industry. FlexMR CEO Paul Hudson comments: 'Danny has a proven track record of driving board-level decisions using research. He is a welcome addition to our growing team, and we look forward to improving the way in which brands are activating insight in a technology-centric era together.'
