London-based consultancy Thinks Insight & Strategy has reshaped its leadership structure with co-fonder Ben Shimson stepping into the CEO role; and promoted Richenda Devereux to Operations Partner.
The agency, which is majority owned by an Employee Ownership Trust, was founded as BritainThinks in 2010 by Shimshon, Viki Cooke and Deborah Mattinson and rebranded earlier this year. Shimshon (pictured top) has served as Managing Partner for the past three years, and will now lead the development and delivery of the company's strategy, reporting to Chairperson Cooke and to the Employee Ownership Trust board (chaired by Mark Smith, former CFO of Chime plc).
Devereux (pictured below), who has been at Thinks since 2019, has overseen the modernisation of the company's project management and operational activities, and led its drive towards B-Corp certification and sustainability.
Cooke says of the moves: 'Ben has proven himself to be a great leader since the day we set up the business - he is one of the best strategic insight people I have ever worked with and continues to inspire excellence in the business. Richenda has been truly instrumental in shaping Thinks to be a great, purpose led business and a brilliant place to work'.
