In Australia, real-time predictive analytics platform Prophet has appointed former Meta exec Hamish Mogan as COO and VP of Marketing Science.
Prophet uses data science including 'advanced mathematics and AI' to analyse consumer purchase behaviour across millions of data points and predict the most efficient and cost-effective ways to influence it. The firm officially launched its 'Commercial Mix Modelling' platform in March this year.
In addition to running his own firm, Superfire Consulting, for the past eighteen months, Mogan (pictured) has worked as Global Director of Data, Analytics and AI wellness and fitness services provider Les Mills International. Before that, he spent four and a half years at Facebook / Meta in Melbourne, initially as Measurement Lead and latterly Head of Commerce Measurement, Marketing Science; and earlier he worked in analytics leadership roles at Vocus and Sportsbet. Earlier in his career he worked at consulting firm Pitcher Partners for eight years.
In a post on LinkedIn the company said: 'Hamish's deep expertise in marketing science, advanced analytics, AI and martech will supercharge our capabilities, helping our clients achieve unparalleled value, insights and predictive outcomes'.
