Manchester-based product intelligence platform Vypr is expanding to Australia, with the launch of a consumer panel in the country, and says it plans a series of international launches this year and next.
The firm offers global brands 'quick and actionable consumer insight' based on behavioural science, to help bring new products to market or to improve their current ranges. Its platform combines expert support with research technology, offering a mixture of qual and quant functionality facilitated via mobile-first consumer communities. Early in 2021 the firm appointed Cint exec Richard Thornton to its board, following a £2.5m investment by YFM Equity Partners, and in November '22 it added another £3.4m. It recently appointed Glenn Porter as Chief Commercial Officer, citing plans for an ambitious phase of customer growth in the UK and internationally.
The Australian launch builds on existing capabilities in the UK and Europe, and is targeted both at brands already selling to the Australian market and those assessing market fit.
CEO Chris Williams (pictured) says the move is 'an exciting international milestone for Vypr' and underlines the firm's 'ongoing commitment to investing in its customers' success'. He adds: 'Australia has a unique and dynamic consumer environment that businesses must understand when operating in or entering the market - our platform is perfectly suited to support this'.
