In the US Tom Pfeil & Brad Camrud, the founders of top 25 agency The Link Group, are to retire, with Laura Bayzle, Jim Pullen and Raja Gupta stepping up to lead the firm as Managing Partners.
Pfeil and Camrud founded the company thirty years ago as Consumer Link International, and today it employs more than 100 researchers and boasts eleven Partners as well as 'no sales team', with 99% of its business coming from repeat & referral clients. It works in multiple sectors including healthcare, retail, restaurant, consumer technology and automotive.
In a statement on its web site the company says the founders are 'transitioning into well-deserved retirement', adding 'Words can't express our gratitude for their vision, dedication, and the incredible foundation they've built'. It is also transitioning to being an employee-owned company: its 'Linkers' will now have a direct ownership stake.
