Dig Insights Buys Ignite 360

Toronto, Canada-based, tech-enabled MR company Dig Insights has acquired Ignite 360, whose offer includes qual-focused insights, strategy, and training.

Dig helps clients understand consumer decision-making, translate these insights into action and drive innovation in their businesses - its products include a proprietary innovation insights platform, Upsiide, and it uses patented data modelling methods. Dig's more than 250 staff support clients in CPG, QSR, retail, technology, financial services and telecoms companies, among others, and are based in offices in Toronto, Chicago and London.

San Francisco-based Ignite 360 was established in 2011, a year after Dig, and focuses on understanding consumer behavior and motivations, mostly through qualitative research. It is also a member of Think Global Qualitative, a worldwide network of insights strategists and researchers Upsiide will help Ignite's team to scale their work, both through AI-assisted tools for qual, and quant-based forecasting and idea-testing tools.
