New VP of Marketing for Fast-Growing Alembic

August 29 2024

In San Francisco, marketing analytics platform Alembic Technologies has appointed Gregory Kennedy as VP of Marketing.

Gregory KennedyAlembic's platform allows users to measure nearly all their marketing activities in real time, and tie them to revenue outcomes. Four weeks ago it appointed Abby Kearns as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), while earlier in the year it raised $14m in series A funding from a group including celebrity backers; and in May it rolled out an upgraded version of its platform, which it says offers a breakthrough in mathematically demonstrating causality in large datasets using composite AI.

Kennedy brings more than twenty years of experience leading global marketing, content, brand and communications strategies for high-tech companies, including InMobi, AdRoll and Sojern. He also helped set up B2B content marketing firm TapSense, which was sold to Wish.com, and for the past two years has run his own marketing consultancy, BrandZen.

'Gregory joins Alembic at the right time' says Tomás Puig, Alembic co-founder and CEO, 'and is the right person with the perfect experience and skill set to take our marketing, brand awareness and sales support to the next level. Alembic is entering a new growth phase and plans to establish itself as a market-leading marketing analytics solution after having spent the past three years building additional features of the core platform, incorporating the latest advanced mathematics and AI. Gregory is essential for our growth and is a key member of our senior management team who will help support and sustain the tremendous interest that Alembic is receiving'.
