Sector specialist researcher Holden Healthcare has opened an office in Tokyo, to be led by MD Koichi Ono, and serving as a hub for the firm's operations in Japan with more localized support for clients there.
Asia-based Holden boasts more than fifteen years of experience and has teams of local healthcare experts across the continent (see image). The firm positions itself as a 'team on-the-ground in Aisa' for clients from the US and EU.
The new Tokyo office will house a team of experienced professionals specializing in project management & qualitative studies, dedicated to delivering quick and high quality services to clients. The expansion has been driven in part by the success of the company's Asia Physician Panel Alliance (APPA), which promises clients 'consistent and efficient research operation services' across the region. Holden says it plans to develop HCP & Patient Panels in Japan.
'The opening of our Tokyo office represents a crucial step in our global growth strategy' says CEO John Xu. Ono adds: 'Japan is a key market for us, and we are excited to deepen our engagement with clients here by offering them on-the-ground support and expertise. This expansion underscores our commitment to investing in markets where we see significant potential for growth'.
