In London, reputation analysis and strategic insights firm Echo Research has appointed former employee Matt Painter as Managing Director, Risk & Reputation; and hired Giulio Vernaccini as Research Director.
Echo was established in 1990 and serves more than 700 clients worldwide with insight and intelligence for reputation measurement, content analysis, stakeholder studies and benchmarking. It also runs the UK's longest-running corporate reputation survey, Britain's Most Admired Companies, and is a registered Expert Witness in reputation in courts of law. In May this year it acquired Reputation Dividend, which helps global companies to value their intangible reputational assets.
Painter (pictured above) rejoins Echo having most recently served as MD of Ipsos Corporate Reputation. He brings around twenty years of experience including work for corporates in various sectors, plus national governments, universities, NGOs and media outlets. Prior to eleven years at Ipsos, he worked for two years at Ebiquity Plc, and in a previous spell at Echo between 2005 and 2012 he was a Research Director. He will now sit on the company's Board.
Vernaccini (pictured below) also joins from Ipsos Corporate Reputation, where he spent nearly nine years, latterly as Associate Director leading high-profile projects including research into stakeholder perceptions and reputation dynamics.
Group CEO Sandra Macleod comments: 'We are thrilled to welcome Matt Painter back to Echo Research. His extensive background in risk and reputation management, coupled with his proven leadership and strategic vision, will be invaluable as we continue to expand our services and deliver unparalleled insights to our clients. We worked together in the early days of Echo Research, so we're all hugely excited to be combining forces yet again. Guilio Vernaccini's expertise in corporate reputation research is a fantastic addition to our team. His international experience, analytical acumen and dedication to excellence will strengthen our research capabilities and help our clients gain a deeper understanding of their reputation landscapes'.
