In London, analytics company Cynozure has appointed former Manchester United Chief Communications Officer and Formula 1 CMO Ellie Norman to its Advisory Board.
The company has offices in the UK, Europe and the US, helping clients to reach their 'data potential' - ensuring they have the skills, culture, capabilities and behaviour required to exploit the opportunities presented by new tech. This includes data management, architecture and engineering; change management and leadership; and data culture and literacy.
Norman brings experience from high-level and high-profile roles in B2C brand building, customer engagement, and strategic communications through data-driven insights. She worked in the Man U CCO role for two years, before which she held the Formula 1 role for more than four and a half years, helping to grow the fan base and more than double the organisation's share price. Earlier she was Head of Advertising and Sponsorships at Virgin Media for five years and held senior marketing roles at Honda for more than six. She has recently been appointed as the Chief Marketing Officer at Formula E. She is also a Non-Executive Director at The Marketing Society.
Cynozure CEO Jason Foster says of the appointment: 'We are delighted to welcome Ellie to our Advisory Board. Her support will enable us to further enhance our services to marketing leadership looking to derive maximum value and business outcomes from data'.
