Customer insights platform Echo has been acquired by Lincoln, Nebraska-based eCommerce company Spreetail, which is looking to add more tools to help clients boost product sales. Terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2006, Spreetail describes itself as an 'ecommerce marketplace accelerator for oversized products', promising a 'complete solution to help brands and manufacturers grow their online businesses more profitably' - the firm has Top 10 Seller status on Amazon, Walmart and Target.
Echo's platform helps companies track NPS and leverage customer feedback across all channels. The company was founded only last year and taps AI to drive actionable insights, alongside a team of industry experts and data scientists. Bengaluru, India-based founder Mudit Gupta will join the Spreetail management team as Head of Brand Insights and AI, and his team will remain in place.
Joshua Ketter, Spreetail Global CEO says the Echo team 'have built a truly innovative technology that helps brands listen to their customers by tracking, analyzing and visualizing customer reviews from across the Internet'. He continues: 'We see the potential for powerful synergies between the two companies that will allow us to further enhance our value as a tech enabler, broaden our tool kit and better serve brands with data'.
