Longtime WWF Exec to Advise Echo Research

November 7 2024

Echo Research has enhanced its independent Client Advisory Board wth the addition of longtime WWF leader Winnie De'Ath, the woman responsible for the campaigns behind the UK Marine Act and the Sky WWF Rainforest Rescue campaign.

Winnie De'AthDe'Ath brings more than 30 years of experience in transformative communication, brand stewardship and public affairs, having worked for more than 32 years for the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) in the UK and Internationally, in roles including Head of Creative and Communication and Brand Director. In addition to creating campaigns that have shifted public perceptions on environmental and conservation issues and helped to shape legislation, she has been a leading figure in the development of Earth Hour, a global movement encouraging action on climate change and biodiversity. Echo welcomes her experience with managing reputational risks and guiding corporate engagement, as well as her grasp of digital communication trends and the implications of misinformation in the age of AI - honed as a Trustee and advisor to various charities and foundations beyond WWF.

Echo CEO Sandra Macleod comments: 'Winnie's expertise in advocacy, sustainability and brand trust will be instrumental in guiding Echo's commitment to support clients in building responsible and future-forward strategies based on sound evidence and insight'.

Launched in 1990, Echo is a multidisciplinary research firm spanning content analysis, stakeholder insight and best practice audit and advisory services, as well as a registered Expert Witness in reputation in courts of law. It runs Britain's Most Admired Companies studies for the London Stock Exchange - the longest running survey of corporate reputation among peers and analysts in the country - and has developed Reputation Dividend, which values the contribution of reputation to companies' market capitalization.
