Independent out-of-home (OOH) agency billups has acquired UK-based Mediabridge Global, its fifth buy in fifteen months. The move gives billups a stronger base in the UK and other EMEA markets, from which to expand usage of its patented analytics and measurement platform.
Mediabridge launched in 2020 and has already built a roster of 30 active agencies representing more than 250 brands. The firm's proprietary tech platform BRIDGE (formerly bitposter) provides clients with fast, automated access-to-market, including live availability, as well as dynamic planning and business intelligence features. Following the deal, ad automation and attribution specialist billups now has more than 40 employees and after buys in Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Canada and Malaysia it now spans eighteen countries on four continents. Last month the firm announced senior hires in Dubai and Australia
'billups has now doubled our local team and enhanced our power to drive results for advertisers in the UK and EMEA' says Global CEO David Krupp. 'Mediabridge's strong client service coupled with a data-forward approach to planning, buying and measuring out-of-home investment aligns with our mission to reinvent out-of-home planning for the performance age'.
David Payne, CEO of Mediabridge says the deal represents 'an incredible opportunity' for his team and clients.
