The company was formed when global marcoms network Publicis Groupe acquired technology and marketing services company Sapient, ten years ago last month. Last year it bought full control of PS AI Labs, a joint venture it had established in 2020 in partnership with data science consultancy Elder Research and technology venture company Tquila.
Robinson (pictured) brings to the role more than twenty years' experience in leadership positions in the Asia Pacific region and Australia. She joins from Deloitte, where she worked for around six and a half years, latterly as Lead Client Service Partner and Partner, Financial Services. Earlier she spent seventeen years at Accenture, latterly as a Managing Director. She also works for mental health strategies organisation The Resilience Project as an Advisory Board member.
In her new role she will promote growth in the Australian market while coordinating community and business operations; and will use the company's SPEED capabilities (Strategy, Product, Experience, Engineering and Data) to help clients while helping to integrate AI into the SPEED technology.
'As Country Managing Director for Australia' says CEO Nigel Vaz, '[Robinson's] expertise and proven ability to drive change will be instrumental as we drive growth in the region, scale our capabilities, and empower clients to innovate, grow, and make a meaningful impact. As a digital business transformation company powered by AI, we harness technology and data to enhance customer experiences and fuel business innovation, helping to position Australia as a leader in AI and GenAI adoption'.
