Antipodean Acquisition Unites MR Software Firms

Bristol, UK-based survey data science specialist Bayes Price has acquired Melbourne, Australia-based Red Centre Software (RCS), the developer of the Ruby data processing engine. RCS founders Roland Seidel and Dale Chant join Bayes Price in senior roles.

Bayes Price is owned by its co-founders Matt Gibbs (pictured) - CEO, and Nikki Lefty - COO. The firm provides clients with rapid, customisable output, from standard tabulations to automated PowerPoint reports, along with an interactive visualisation portal allowing them to dig deeper into data on their own. A founding member of the TSAPI Initiative, its advanced analysis and automation services range from large-scale algorithms to tailored investigations.

The firm will now integrate RCS' technology into its solutions, creating an advanced online platform combining interactive reporting with AI-enhanced analysis and visualisation. Seidel will lead on cross-tabs and complex data processing software, and Chant on continuous tracking operations and software related to these. Gibbs says the work of his two new colleagues is 'unparalleled', and comments: 'Their technology has set a benchmark in the industry.
