BVA BDRC Appoints Senior Data Scientist

Insights group BVA BDRC has appointed Prathit Shivade as Senior Data Scientist, working in its Data Factory team.

BDRC was established in 1991, and since 2018 has been part of French research and consultancy company BVA. The group now comprises full service agency BVA BDRC, mystery shopping and store observation firm ESA Retail, digital agency Alligator, operations business Perspective Research Services and viewing facility and qual recruiter Viewpoint. In March this year it launched a synthetic data product called Pixel.AI, which it says accurately predicts responses from restricted segments by training on existing and representative data.

The Data Factory team includes three separate teams comprising in total more than twenty data scientists and analysts. Shivade joins from Bath-based Cognisess, a specialist in software for workforce management and development, and before that he spent a year in consulting roles at business services firm Acumen & Grin in Pune, India. His expertise includes data analytics, advanced statistical modelling and innovative technologies, and his new role will focus on driving deeper data-driven insights to deliver more actionable intelligence to clients.
