Fast-growing London-based research tech company Walr has added to its team in Asia Pacific: former Lightspeed and Toluna researcher Neil Hayes joins as Commercial Director and Raita Tochinai as Director, Operations.

Neil Hayes and Raita TochinaiWalr was founded in October 2020 by former VIGA (now Savanta) exec Lewis Reeves and Patrick Fraser, who previously worked at Ipsos and Critical Research. The company aims to give researchers a 'data creation platform' which is 'the only solution they'll ever need', and now provides visualisation and reporting services. He has also worked at Research Now and YouGov.

Tochinai (pictured below) joins from sustainability-focused research tech firm Glow, where he has served as Operations Director for the last four years. Prior to this he was Team Lead, Project Management at Lucid, and earlier he spent six and a half years at SSI.

Quoted on www.researchsociety.com.au , Walr's General Manager APAC Lamia Lee says: 'As we continue to grow in this dynamic region, having the right leadership in place is critical to ensuring our success. Neil and Raita bring a wealth of experience that perfectly aligns with Walr's vision to simplify the research process and drive the success of our clients. I am excited to work alongside them to elevate our impact in APAC'.
