Netherlands-based full service agency DVJ Insights has named former Initiative Netherlands CEO Léonie Koning as Global Commercial Director, starting this week.
DVJ helps clients improve communication, build stronger brands, introduce more innovative products and services, and gain a deeper understanding of consumer behaviour. The firm works closely with 'industry practitioners and scientific institutions' to keep its own innovation on track. In August the firm bolstered its senior team across Europe with appointments in Germany, the Netherlands, the Nordics and the UK.
Koning (pictured) spent more than seventeen years at media agency Initiative Netherlands, latterly as CEO for four years, and then in 2021 moved to a regional role with its parent company Mediabrands, as President of Initiative EMEA - here she led initiatives expanding the business across the region, helping to promote a culture of innovation.
DVJ says the appointment underlines its commitment to fostering deeper client relationships, and will help it to integrate its global operations further. Global MD Marieke van Echtelt comments: 'DVJ's growth story has been defined by its strong focus on quality, client-centric solutions, and the ability to adapt to an ever-changing market landscape. The addition of Léonie to the management team will further enable us to strengthen our global strategy, build on our international connections, and ensure we continue to provide exceptional value to our clients worldwide'.
