Veridata Promotes for Qual Director Roles

Texas-based data collection and research solutions provider Veridata Insights is restructuring its Qualitative Research Division, promoting Heidi Palacios and Leyla Akin to give each the title of Director of Global Qualitative Solutions.

The firm was founded in 2019 and offers an automated project platform covering the research process from sampling through to dashboards and analytics. The qual division was launched in 2021 and has grown each year since, led by President Katie Ozdemir.

Palacios (pictured above) joined the company in November 2023 as a Project Manager in the division, and previously worked for five years at Sago, previously known as Schlesinger Associates, in PM and Client Solutions Manager roles. Akin (pictured below), who holds a BSc and an MSc in Anthropology, has worked at Veridata for two years, also as a Project Manager, and had previously worked a number of spells as a freelances for Istanbul-based Habitus Research.
