System1 Hires MD of Innovation

Creative testing and optimization platform System1 has appointed Tristan Findlay as Managing Director of Innovation, driving the firm's development and growth of solutions to help brands 'confidently optimise their ideas'.

Tristan FindlaySystem1 was founded as Brainjuicer in 2000 by current company President John Kearon, has operations in Europe, North America, Brazil, Singapore and Australia, and combines expert guidance with a database of more than 100,000 ads to allow brands to compare their ads against those of competitors. The firm's Test Your Ad (TYA) and Test Your Innovation (TYI) solutions predict the short- and long-term commercial potential of ads and ideas, while Test Your Brand (TYB) measures the impact of ads and ideas on brand health.

Findlay (pictured) brings experience in innovation and commercialisation which will help drive the expansion of TYI. His nearly two decades in MR began at Nielsen BASES. He joined automated research platform Zappi in 2018 as Head of Innovation Practice, designing and launching new solutions, scaling partnerships and helping to drive growth for the innovation function. After this he was Chief Growth Officer at product and sensory innovation research company MMR, and most recently he worked at Toluna in roles including UK Sales Director and Group Commercial Director.
