Marcoms group dentsu has appointed Danica Bellchambers in the new role of Chief Data & Technology Officer in its ANZ region, charged with building a more connected and cohesive data, technology and AI strategy for the company.
Bellchambers (pictured) starts on 11th May and will also join the dentsu ANZ Executive Leadership Team. The new role brings together data, technology and AI as a core, horizontal capability across the business, integrating it 'deeply' into dentsu's Media, Creative, and Experience practices.
She joins from media network Nine, where she was Head of Product, AI leading the organisation's AI product strategy and overseeing the development and deployment of AI-driven solutions across content, audience and commercial use cases. Earlier she led the data science and analytics capability for ad agency Clemenger BBDO. She holds a Master of Applied Analytics, supported by advanced qualifications in artificial intelligence.
'Danica is exactly the leader we need at this moment,' says ANZ Chief Exec Rob Harvey. 'We're already doing great work across data, technology and AI, and her appointment is about accelerating that momentum and connecting our capability more deeply across the organisation.'
