Emerging markets panel specialist Borderless Access has become the latest company to appoint current ESOMAR President Dan Foreman as a Non-Executive Director.
Foreman will provide expertise in business strategy, corporate growth, sales and marketing for the company, whose panels give access to more than 1.5 million consumers in seventeen countries, including recent additions Nigeria, Colombia and New Zealand.
In addition to consumer panels, the firm develops specialist and niche audiences including healthcare, mobile, travel, automobile and finance. A month ago, it launched a proprietary community and panel management platform, Communisense, to help clients understand and predict panelist behavior across recruitment, engagement, sampling and incentive management.
Currently Chairman of online research app platform ZappiStore, Foreman brings more than twenty years' experience in building consumer research businesses, including spells as Chief Marketing Executive at consumer insight technology firm Lumi Mobile, CEO of full service agency Insight International, business development lead for ActiveGroup, and MD of online agency Opinium. He also set up the London office for FocusVision; worked agency side at WFCA, Incite, Added Value and Research International; and client side as Research Director at Kimberly-Clark.
He was named President of ESOMAR in 2012, and has since added a cluster of NED roles, at firms including qual analytics and customer insights specialist YouEye, research workflow automation specialist Intellection Software and social media intelligence company Replise. Outside MR, he is also an NED at Able Engineering and at hotel group Drake & Cavendish.
Borderless Access President Ruchika Gupta says Foreman brings 'a new level of experience and knowledge' to the team, adding: 'As we extend our global reach and start making analytics driven business decisions to enhance our operations, Dan's specialties become vital to our growth.'
Foreman comments: 'Borderless Access is already known for their excellent panel and sample solutions but there is so much more beneath the bonnet. The organisation has the potential to make a big difference as we credibly enter the era of big data.'
