In London, IT, healthcare and B2B MR firm RONIN Development Corporation has been sold out of administration as a going concern to creative digital marketing agency Fat Media. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
RONIN was founded in 1986 and offers a variety of services including market assessments, concept testing, buyer behaviour analysis, and customer experience research. Fat Media Group says the buy will further enhance its full service brand positioning with the addition of market research and data collection.
Ian Robert, Joint Administrator and Head of Business Recovery and Insolvency at Kingston Smith & Partners, confirmed that the transaction preserves nearly all RONIN's 200 or so jobs, while protecting supplier and customer relationships. Fat Media CEO David Durnford (pictured) added: 'We are delighted that Fat Media could take on this leading data collection and market research business. We had been looking for some time to expand our data analysis and insight offering, and we jumped at the opportunity'.
