In the UK, qual and quant fieldwork services agency Ardent Fieldwork has expanded its senior team with the appointment of former Field Initiatives Directors Karen Beardon and Viki Hallahan.
London-based Ardent, which was set up in 2013 by former Field Initiatives Director Vipul Chokshi, provides qual services such as focus groups, accompanied shops, panel recruitment, and ethnography/immersion depths; and quant services including online surveys, mystery shopping, product placement and recall tests, and tracking studies. Beardon joined RDSi-owned qual recruitment agency Field Initiatives in 1998, having previously been Field Manager at Ace Fieldwork and a Project Manager at Focus on Research; while Hallahan worked for Field Initiatives for more than 22 years. Both are now Directors of Ardent.
Commenting on the appointments, Chokshi said: 'We have delivered a diverse range of projects across qual and quant methodologies supporting over 200 clients and achieving double digit growth each year over the last five years. I now look forward to welcoming Viki and Karen on board to further enhance our project delivery capabilities and providing quality fieldwork for our current and new clients'.
