US agricultural insights provider DTN has acquired PraxSoft, which collects, processes and transmits real-time weather data from sensor devices. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.PraxSoft's technology pulls in real-time environmental sensor information and analytics for a variety of clients including those in agriculture, transportation, and other weather-sensitive businesses. Its new owner DTN provides agricultural information solutions, market intelligence and in-depth market analysis to agricultural producers, agribusiness leaders and commodity market traders.
