In Sydney, Australia, insight and strategy consultancy The Leading Edge has appointed former Ipsos exec Erin Beggs as Director, Brand and Innovation.Founded 30 years ago, the Enero-owned company evaluates existing data sources, historic research and reports, to uncover consumer, category and societal trends. In addition, the company designs, executes and interprets consumer research assignments; and processes, tools, models and activities that focus on converting insights into strategies, concepts and business cases.
Beggs (pictured) joins after nearly six years at Ipsos, where she latterly served as Director of Advanced Qualitative Research, responsible for research quality and design, client outcomes, client management and new business. Prior to this, she ran specialist social and cultural research consultancy Cultureplay, having begun her MR career at Synovate.
Commenting on the appointment, CEO Gillian O'Sullivan said: 'Erin has proven skills in brand strategy, research and innovation. She will bring dynamism and a highly creative mindset to The Leading Edge.'
