Comscore has been appointed by India's Bureau of Outreach and Communication (BOC) as digital partner in setting ad rates for the country's desktop and mobile advertising.The BOC undertakes multi-media advertising and publicity for various ministries and departments of the Government of India. At present, all publishers have been invited to submit their monthly numbers for empanelment, as the BOC commits to providing the industry with a single source for measurement across all platforms.
Comscore serves as an appointed online measurement standard in a number of markets across the globe, including Indonesia, Malaysia, the UK, Spain, Finland and Norway. Commenting on the latest appointment, Kedar Gavane (pictured), SVP of Comscore in APAC, said: 'We are excited to have been selected as an official digital audience measurement currency in India. As the advertising market in India continues to evolve, we are proud to provide accurate, independent measurement so that advertisers and agencies feel confident in their advertising decisions across key channels.'
