US-based strategy and custom research company Magid has hired former CMI Research exec Steve Flynn as Senior Vice President, based in Atlanta.
The company, which was founded by television 'news doctor' Frank N. Magid in 1957, studies how behavior is affected by content and advertising across traditional and new media platforms. Flynn (pictured) joins from behavioral insights and consultancy firm CMI, where he led business development and grew the company's Behavioral and Decision Sciences practice. Prior to this he ran consumer neuroscience labs for Coca-Cola; was Executive Director, Strategy & Insights at YP; and held senior agency-side positions as VP Consumer Neuroscience at Nielsen NeuroFocus, and VP/Account Group Director at Millward Brown.
According to EVP Craig Wax, who leads Magid's Consumer Products and Services practice: 'Building on Magid's deep understanding of human behavior and the factors that drive decision making, Steve will deliver valuable strategic consulting to companies in financial services, retail, and CPG'.
