David Almy, CEO of US industry body the Insights Association (IA), will be leaving his role at the end of the year, to spend more time with his family.
Formed in 2017 through the merger of CASRO and MRA, the Insights Association provides a resource and network for the marketing research and data analytics community, with all proceeds invested in advocacy, education, certification and direct member support. Almy (pictured) joined the MRA in 2010, after serving as VP Membership, Marketing & Communications at the National Air Transportation Association, prior to which he spent eight years at the National Business Aviation Association in senior marcoms positions.
Among his achievements, Almy led MRA's efforts to expand the community through the creation of the flagship Corporate Researcher's Conference (CRC). He also modernized the MRA Code of Marketing Research Standards, introduced technology platforms for online education and member services, relocated MRA's headquarters from Connecticut to Washington to improve government representation, and strengthened the MRA/CASRO relationship culminating with the merger of the two associations.
David Rothstein, IA Board Chair and CEO of RTi Research, comments: 'David's creativity, innovations, pursuit of excellence and support for others exemplifies the heart of those who created and nurtured the insights industry and profession. Our Board and members are grateful for his service to our community.'
