Global intelligence business Savanta has acquired New Jersey-based marketing research consultancy Hase/Schannen Research Associates (HSR). Terms were not disclosed.
Savanta was formed in February, when Next15's MIG Global data and insights group combined its research agencies Morar HPI, VIGA, Charterhouse and Circle into one new brand. The group's offer includes bespoke research, data collection and analysis, and products such as the BrandVue and MarketVue reputation tracking tools. HSR, which joins Savanta with immediate effect, was founded in 1975 and provides custom strategic research services to corporations across a wide variety of industries in the US and abroad. With the buy, Savanta grows from around 200 to more than 260 employees across 5 offices worldwide.
Savanta Americas CEO Vin DeRobertis (pictured) comments: 'We are delighted to add HSR Associates to our group. As a leader in value added primary research, the firm directly aligns with our strategy to add complex insights and consulting services to our research offerings. With HSR, we will be able to continue our growth and accelerate our future expansion by broadening our reach to more sectors'.
Dr. Elliot Schwartz, President of HSR, says the move gives his firm 'immediate access to a more extensive operational foundation, allowing us to broaden our offerings to our clients, and further strengthen our core pillars of superior quality, thought leadership, and unparalleled service'.
The firm is online at www.savanta.com .
