US-based consumer insights and strategy consultancy db5 has been acquired by Australian marketing and communications group Bastion Collective, for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2009 by Chris Hubble, LA and New York-based db5 offers qual and quant research, brand strategy, innovation and communications, with methods used including discrete choice, product viability, pricing, copy testing, brand tracking, customer journey and segmentation. The deal supports Bastion Collective's continued expansion into the US market, and the research company will now be known as Bastion db5.
Fergus Watts (pictured), founder and Executive Chairman of Bastion Collective, comments: 'Finding a research firm of the highest caliber has been a top priority as we look to build out a comprehensive, complementary suite of services for our clientele. Bastion db5 has the talent, resources and experience to plug into our growing collective of communications experts and offer immediate value. Our current and future clients will now have access to invaluable data points and insights to help them grow, which is very exciting'.
