California-based eCommerce targeting solutions provider Fanplayr has opened a 'corporate hub' in Mexico City, led by Mariano Tripiciano in the role of MD, Latin America.
Founded in 2011, Fanplayr has developed a cloud-based and data-driven platform helping eCommerce sites to understand visitors' intent and deliver real-time, targeted messages and offers to specific segments. The firm employs 30 people worldwide; has a sales network in Europe, North America, Latin America and APAC; and has raised more than $8m in funding to date.
The firm says its new Mexico-based office is strategically located for business relations with key countries including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Peru, as well as its close proximity to Fanplayr headquarters in California. Tripiciano (pictured) will lead the new office, having joined the company in 2013 and since led the Italian business, serving as Head of Operations and then VP Europe. He will be joined by Saúl Corral Rodríguez, Sales Director, who has fifteen years' experience in the South American market.
Commenting on the launch, Tripiciano said: 'We realized long ago that the Mexican market was receptive, but we were trying to manage everything centrally from Italy with limited local support. With a critical mass of business in the region, the time has come to open a new, much more functional office to best serve our customers'.
