New COO for Avenu Insights & Analytics

In the US, Avenu Insights & Analytics has appointed Lara Oerter as Chief Operating Officer, with responsibility for company-wide operations, including product development and solution delivery.

Avenu works with state and local governments to provide solutions to uncover new sources of untapped revenue, and software that streamlines day-to-day operations. The firm's data and analytics services enable governments to assess, project and measure revenue opportunities.

Oerter (pictured) joins the company's headquarters in Centreville, Virginia with more than fifteen years' executive leadership experience. She was most recently COO of commercial drone technology manufacturer PrecisionHawk, prior to which she worked for education non-profit TNTP, and she spent eleven years at education technology provider Blackboard, latterly as SVP and Chief of Staff.
