In the US, marcoms giant WPP has announced that its global digital agency Wunderman Thompson has acquired marketing technology consultancy XumaK. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.Miami-based XumaK's range of services includes user experience (UX) design, using data-driven strategy for all projects. This includes user research through stakeholder interviews and usability testing; profiling using personas and journey maps; UX assessment through benchmarking and competitive analysis; and blueprint development through prototyping. The company also provides Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) software and services, to manage, deliver and optimize experiences across every digital touchpoint.
Founded in 2004 by CEO Marcos Andrés Antil (pictured), XumaK also has development centres in Guatemala and Colombia, and employs approximately 60 people. According to WPP, the acquisition will drive the experience technology capability for Wunderman Thompson North America.
