In Canada, online customer community solution provider Vanilla Forums has secured an undisclosed amount of investment, which it will use to expand into new markets.Vanilla offers open source and hosted software for the creation of online communities where members can collaborate, communicate and share their ideas about a company's products and services.
New funding comes from New York-based growth equity firm Level Equity. Luc Vezina (pictured), CEO of Vanilla, comments: 'At a time when interactions are moving online, community forums allow people to share, have meaningful conversations and build social bonds.
