In New York, data and marketing solutions provider Infogroup has appointed former IRI exec Robert Konkos as Vice President of its Enterprise Division, with a remit to expand the firm's agency services market footprint.Infogroup's solutions are driven by its proprietary business and consumer databases, supplemented by client and third party data. Its cloud-based Data Axle technology enables real-time updates to its business and consumer data files, and also provides clients with a real-time API delivery platform.
Konkos (pictured) joins retail intelligence provider IRI, where he latterly served as VP, Data Sales, driving the growth of the company's data and attribution services through partnerships, product strategies and analytics. Prior to this he worked for North American Publishing Group as VP of Media, before which he was Senior Marketing/Media Director at eWayDirect.
Commenting on the appointment, CEO Michael Iaccarino said: 'Robert created and launched in-flight optimization. Timestamping offline sales data and uploading it each week was a game-changer for CPG companies, who could then use it to optimize their programs, processes, and ultimately, revenue.
