Analytics-driven marcoms specialist W20 has appointed Bryan Specht as 'Group President, Transformation, Consumer Activation and Marketing', with a remit to enhance the consumer-focused digital capabilities of its healthcare offering.
San Francisco-based W2O, which has fifteen offices across the US and EU, applies proprietary analytics models and methods to the design of communications and marketing strategies for healthcare clients. Specht (pictured) joins from global agency and consulting group ICF Next, where he served as Managing Partner, Chief Growth and Innovation Officer. Prior to this he was President of brand and PR agency Olson, where he worked for more than a decade, having earlier been Deputy Chief of Staff for Senator Robert Torricelli.
In his new role, Specht will examine ways of creating new ways of working with clients and potential partners to redefine how people experience healthcare and manage their personal health. Company founder and CEO Jim Weiss comments: 'Bryan understands the human side of healthcare and that patients expect real-time, personal and direct access to health information. As a firm, we have been on a journey to infuse the marketing principles of the consumer and influence world with science and healthcare to reach people in new ways, giving them more control to live healthier lives. Bryan will accelerate these assets, resulting in a truly digital healthcare firm'.
