Global shopper insights agency PRS IN VIVO has appointed former Kantar and TNS exec Inna Merenkova to head up UK operations as Managing Director, while Scott Brill has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer, based in the US.
Owned by BVA Group, PRS IN VIVO applies behavioral science to understand shopping behavior and influence consumer choices. In April, the company launched a solution called PackFlash eCommerce, for use in testing product images presented in online shopping platforms.
Merenkova joins with 25 years' experience in the research and media industry. Most recently, she worked for Kantar as Global Client Lead, prior to which she spent sixteen years at TNS in a variety of roles, including Unilever Global Account Director in London, and Deputy MD for the TNS Custom Business in Russia. Earlier, she was Research Director at Optimum Media OMD Group, having begun her career as a Project Director at Gallup Media Russia.
In New York, Brill most recently served as SVP, Global Research & Client Development, tasked with setting up the framework for the company's global market development initiatives. After nearly twelve years with the business, he will now lead that group and has been appointed to the firm's executive team. Brill started his career in 2003 at Perception Research Services, where he focused on accelerating global expansion.
Commenting on the news, CEO Alex Hunt said: 'These two appointments, and others that will follow in the coming months, provide tangible consultative capability, as we bring clients new solutions that we have developed to address the increasingly digital lives of consumers. We are thrilled to have Inna and Scott in these roles because of their unique skills and track records for building client confidence, which we believe will fuel our growth aspirations'.
