The UK division of Future Thinking has taken its new parent Savanta's name, following its acquisition earlier this year.
In February, Next15's data and insights group Savanta acquired Future Thinking's UK business, which has 61 staff in offices in Oxford and London. Future Thinking France and the Gemseek division were not part of the deal.
Founded in 1982 as The Oxford Research Agency (TORA), the company changed its name to Future Thinking in 2010, and was merged with London-based SPA when the latter was acquired a month later by Future Thinking's majority owner, private equity firm Next Wave Partners. Now under the Savanta brand name, the business expands Savanta's sector expertise in FMCG, media and automotive, whilst strengthening its customer experience research and product testing capabilities.
Paul Bath (pictured), Global COO, Savanta, comments: 'The rebrand was the final stage of the integration and we are delighted to be unified with our new colleagues under Savanta. We look forward to our future together and are extremely grateful to the Future Thinking management team for seamlessly transitioning the team and client relationships, especially given the difficult market conditions'.
