Research software and solutions company Confirmit has appointed Giles Whiting as its new COO and Rebecca Wright as Head of Legal.
The company has recently been merged with Dapresy after a forced sale to the latter's owner, Nordic private equity fund Verdane. It has offices on four continents, and its platforms allow data collection, analysis, visualization and action management. Last week, it appointed former Dapresy CEO Tobi Andersson as Chief Product Officer, leading its product strategy and vision.
Whiting joins from SoftBank Group, where he led the Operating Team, overseeing a portfolio of strategic and global assets; and has also worked at Medallia, Percepta, TTEC, and McKinsey & Company. He brings expertise in building high-performing teams, executing growth strategies, and product development.
Wright will oversee and deliver efficient legal strategies and compliance programmes across an international landscape. She served most recently as Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary at energy and commodity trading software company Brady PLC, establishing an in-house global legal function; and before this was Legal Counsel at language software specialist Rosetta Stone.
CEO Kyle Ferguson comments: 'We're thrilled to welcome Giles and Rebecca onto our team as we embark on this new chapter for Confirmit. We're excited about the level of expertise and energy they bring to the table to help continue to grow our business'.
