Paul Wealleans Confirmed as Panelbase MD

Northumberland-based insights firm DRG has confirmed the appointment of Paul Wealleans as Managing Director of its online research supplier Panelbase.

Panelbase offers access to a community of more than 300,000 UK adults and more than 50,000 under-16s. Services include online sample, omnibus, recruitment for online qual, in-home product testing, scripting / hosting, data tabulation, and bespoke survey tool development.

Wealleans (pictured) became Panelbase Project Manager in 2014, after roles in the newspaper industry: first at Northeast Press, where he latterly served as Divisional IT Manager, and then at The Scotsman as Director of Group Services; followed by a stint as Customer Service Associate at outsourcing company 2Touch. In April, he was named leader of Panelbase after the sudden death of founder Angus Webb.
