Recently launched copywriting analysis tool Copytesting has changed its name to Wynter, effective immediately. The firm says it is evolving, and has 'enhanced its focus on helping B2B enterprises gather and use data for product messaging'.
The qual research software-as-a-service tool includes facilities to recruit a panel of people representing a client's target audience, and helps companies assess the effectiveness of their product messaging and how it can be improved. CEO Peep Laja (pictured), who created the firm in May this year, is co-founder of data-driven marketing training firm the CXL Institute.
Laja says the new name 'allows the company to expand from being only about copywriting to focus on product and go-to-market messaging'. He comments: 'Companies often struggle with making it obvious how awesome they are, and why customers should be all over them. The symptoms of ineffective messaging aren't easy to spot. Companies collect and analyze almost every imaginable metric, but how do you know if your messaging is working? That's where Wynter comes in'.
