UK-based community panels specialist Verve has announced a 23% increase in revenues for the year ending 31st December 2020, to £8.1m. It has also hired Lucy Wetherhill, Claire Andrzejewski, Parker Mincey and six other new faces, and made eleven promotions.
The firm said the result was helped by increased use of community panels to help clients keep up with their ever-changing customers. According to CEO and founder Andrew Cooper, '2020 was obviously a challenging year but we are fortunate that our business model based on smart digital propositions is well suited to the new environment. The team really pulled out all the stops to deliver great work for clients, which in turn has delivered strong financial results'.
Wetherhill (pictured top) joins from Leeds-based Trinity McQueen, as an Associate Director, and brings fifteen years' research experience. Claire Andrzejewski (pictured middle) also joins as an AD, based in the Chicago area team, and worked previously at Nielsen. US-based Mincey started recently in the role of Senior Research Manager. Verve has also appointed four new staff in in Iasi, Romania: Peter Sfichi as Research Support Executive, and Project Support Executives Mihai Grigorescu, Anisoara Gherghel and Teodora Alexandra Simon. Meanwhile Alice Virgo and Clara Boudet join the business as part of the Graduate Recruitment Scheme, based in the UK and France.
