In New York, predictive AI platform NWO.ai has launched out of stealth mode with a $3.5m seed funding round.Founded in 2019 by Pulkit Jaiswal (pictured), Sourav Goswami, and CTO Imogen Low, NWO.ai analyzes petabytes of data with proprietary predictive AI, in order to help clients track and anticipate global cultural shifts. The firm's machine learning and natural language processing algorithms convert narrative data into visual metrics, which it claims anyone can understand and use. In addition, the firm has partnered with business software giant SAP through its SAP.iO accelerator, to provide indicators of consumer purchasing behavior for demand forecasts.
Seed funding has been co-led by Hyperplane, Wavemaker and Colle Capital, with participation from Adit Ventures and SuperAngel. Jaiswal comments: 'We're committed to understanding human behavior through data. Our proprietary machine learning and natural language processing algorithms continuously transform petabytes of unstructured narrative data into visual metrics that are easy to understand - and act on'.
