In the US, programmatic research tech specialist Lucid and research automation platform PureSpectrum are to integrate their platforms, allowing researchers to buy respondent access from both firms on either platform, regardless of their primary platform choice.
Lucid's platform and services unite buyers and sellers of survey sample in more than 100 countries, and through its global community of sample buyers and suppliers, the Lucid Marketplace, the firm enables anyone, in any industry, to ask questions of online audiences. PureSpectrum also provides a marketplace for buyers and sellers of online sample, with its PureScore machine learning-driven respondent scoring system designed to block 'low-quality' respondents from taking surveys; and its DIY eCommerce insights platform Storefront automating survey creation.
The firms say the combination of the two marketplaces will give the industry 'a much simpler and powerful experience'. PureSpectrum founder and CEO Michael McCrary says the companies share a similar vision and believe there will be 'immense client benefits' in working together.
Lucid founder and CEO Patrick Comer adds: 'We see an incredible opportunity to drive customer value with this integration. It will unlock previously inaccessible inventory to panel suppliers and researchers. As partners we can help grow and support the global insights industry and drive digital transformation faster'.
