In the US, customer experience automation (CXA) firm ActiveCampaign has raised $240m in a Series C round of financing, which it will use for further investment in product development, ongoing global expansion, and acceleration of partner initiatives.
The firm's CXA platform helps users engage with their customers, providing businesses of all sizes with access to more than 500 pre-built automations for use in segmentation and personalization initiatives across social media, e-mail, messaging, chat and text. The company then uses machine learning to provide customers with tailored content.
This latest funding round has been led by new investor Tiger Global, with participation from Dragoneer and existing investors Susquehanna Growth Equity and Silversmith Capital Partners, bringing the total raised to date to $360m. Founder and CEO Jason VandeBoom (pictured) comments: 'I'm excited to welcome Tiger Global and Dragoneer as investors, and want to thank SGE and Silversmith for their ongoing investment and support as this funding will allow us to further lead the CXA category, critical for companies to reach their growth potential'.
