DBM Consultants Names Singapore MD

Australia-based full-service MR agency DBM Consultants has appointed financial services specialist Andrew Kim as Managing Director in Singapore.

Founded in 1992 by Dhruba Gupta, DBM is part of the APAC-wide Illuminera Group. Kim (pictured) joins with more than fifteen years' financial services sector experience. Most recently, he worked at business intelligence and digital media provider RFi Group, latterly as Client Insights Director - Asia, having previously been the firm's Head of Client Insights - Asia. He began his career as an Actuarial Analyst at the New York Life Insurance Company in Seoul, before joining Fast Future Brands as a Retail Analyst, and then Australia's Commonwealth Bank, where he worked in equities and margin lending.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO Kipling Zubevich said: 'Andrew will play a key role in DBM's international expansion with a focus on driving our financial services and other offers into Southeast Asian markets'.
