In the US, business intelligence provider ZoomInfo has appointed Chetna Mahajan as Chief Information Officer.
ZoomInfo, which holds data on around 100 million business professionals worldwide, was acquired in 2019 by DiscoverOrg. Both firms both use proprietary technology and tools to gather, clean and maintain company and contact data. Mahajan (pictured) joins from operations transformation specialist Conga, where she served as VP of Business Systems and Data Analytics, overseeing a portfolio of more than 200 business and enterprise systems. Prior to this she worked for antivirus company Symantec as Senior Director, Business Systems, Intelligent Automation and Digital Experience, leading multiple digital transformation initiatives.
In her new role, Mahajan will lead the company's IT strategy for digital transformation. She will serve on ZoomInfo's executive leadership team and report to COO Chris Hays, who comments: 'Chetna's ability to strategically align digital technology and business operations is unmatched. She has exceptional expertise in scaling enterprise-wide information technology initiatives and running multimillion-dollar projects successfully for international companies. Chetna will be instrumental in helping our customers grow their businesses rapidly and enabling our company to continue to innovate globally'.
