In Canada, online community platform Tribe has raised $7.5m in a seed round of funding, which it will use to hire across all departments, including product, engineering, customer success and marketing; and to continue building its technology.
Tribe's no-code community solution comes packaged with two components - a core platform for member management, feed, notifications, moderation, analytics and security; and modular apps to extend the platform's functionality, including events, Q&A, ideation, voice chat and messaging.
New funding has been led by Bessemer Venture Partners and CRV, with participation from Inovia Capital. Tribe co-founder and CEO Siavash Mahmoudian (pictured) comments: 'We have brought in some awesome and smart people as investors. What this means for our customers is that our product and services will improve at a faster pace as we grow the Tribe team. And as always, we are committed to collecting customers' feedback, stories, challenges, and triumphs'.
