New York-based consumer insights platform getWizer has announced plans to open additional US offices in the Midwest and the West Coast and is looking to double its sales team and hire new research staff. The firm has also made several promotions.
Backed by Nielsen, the firm's platform automates the market research process for use in areas such as brand positioning, product and concept testing, and advertising effectiveness measurement. In preparation for the US expansion, the company has promoted Jennifer Allison (pictured) to the position of Global Head of Sales from her previous role as VP, Strategic Accounts. Before joining the firm in 2018, she spent eighteen years at Nielsen - initially at BASES as VP, Client Consulting, before moving to the post of SVP, Global Client Business Partner for PepsiCo.
In addition, Alex Frankel Schorr has been promoted to Director of Customer Success. She previously worked for Hotspex as VP, Cognitive Media Targeting & Special Projects, Director of Business Insights at Simulmedia, and Director of Primary Research at NBCUniversal, and she earlier held senior positions at Ipsos and Nielsen. Finally, Shira Watermann has been promoted to VP Research, Americas, after six years with the firm, and having previously managed global accounts at an MR agency in Israel.
Alon Ravid, co-founder and CEO of getWizer, comments: 'The business climate in the post-COVID era has become more challenging for brands. We must evolve to be able to support our customers and help them become successful by providing them with stellar insights. Our investment in our team is only one step. We're also investing in the technology and features of our platform.'
